I can’t even deal with how great Maria is at giving Christmas gifts. I got home from work tonight and found a package awaiting me and recognized the handwriting immediately, which made me so excited to open it.
First, I got to see this lovely card.
Then I unwrapped the gift and it was a beaker filled with blue meth candy.
And each package is marked with little HEISENCLAUS tags!
It’s too pretty to eat! I don’t know what to do! It is like the ultimate packaging! I’m just sitting here staring at it in awe and self-loathing because it’s too late to call at night and thank her.
(More evidence Maria excels at packaging: here is a shot of last year’s wrapping paper, which I still have, sitting on top of one of my piles of books.)

This is what I get when Christina and I are not watching Breaking Bad together.

Anonymous asked: I agree. This song is sick, and so are a lot of the other ones on the show. And this song fit perfectly for the mood of that scene. Also, do you know any songs similar to this?
I think you’re referring the song from the Breaking Bad finale I reblogged the other day? If that’s the case, unfortunately, I don’t know any similar songs off the top of my head. But Breaking Bad has featured a lot of great music and some of it is used so well I’m not consciously aware of what’s being used, so I’m looking forward to making my way through this playlist of music from the show to identify tracks. Off the top of my head the only song that I could think of was Kleerup’s “Until We Bleed” but they are not that similar. That’s the best I can do for you. Sorry! :(
The best show on TV. The poster is designed by Matt Needle.
File under: things I need like I need a hole in my head; things I want regardless of how little I need them.
Breaking Bad 4.13 “Face Off”
I always used to assume this show would end with Jesse’s death (suicide, for guilt over all their actions over the course of the show) and Walt being caught / dying of cancer, but now I imagine that Jesse will find out what Walt’s done and kill Walt himself.
But whatever. I always love this show best when they’re working together and of course this tugged at my heartstrings, right before the final shot ripped them all in half.
